Country Line Dancing lessons:

Thursday, October 18th, at 6:30pm, the Post is hosting Dancing in Line with Helen! Your instructor will be teaching Beginner Level line dancing lessons, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. If you ever wanted to get out on that dance floor but were afraid to give it a try, now is your chance. This event is open to the public so don't be shy when telling your friends. At the low, low fee of $15 per person, you can be the next suburban cowboy. Come one, come all and get your boot scootin' boogie on!

 

Auxiliary First Ever Monthly Fundraiser:

Please help get the Auxiliary started off on the right foot with their monthly raffle. This month's prize is a basket of cheer. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10, available at the Post canteen.  Drawing will be held at the next Auxiliary Member Meeting, October 8th.

 

Attention Members, A Free Entertainment Experience!: 

On Friday, September 19th, at 7:00 pm, VFW District 11 is presenting the Support Our Veterans and Youth Charity Concert at American Legion Post #924, 55 Ponquogue Avenue, Hampton Bays. It is an evening of music performed by Real East End Brass with light refreshments served and a cash bar. The Post Commander has free tickets available to our members on a first come, first served basis. Please RSVP with the Commander as soon as possible , otherwise tickets are $25 at the door.

Wednesday, October 1st, at 7:00 pm.

The second round of nominations for the recently vacated Junior Vice Commander position will be accepted and the special election will be conducted.

 

Next Auxiliary Member Meeting: 

Wednesday, October 8th, at 7:00 pm. The upcoming Pasta Dinner fundraiser will be discussed. First fundraising raffle will be conducted.

 

Auxiliary 1st Annual Pasta Night: 

Friday, October 10th, 7:00-10:00 pm

Come and support the Auxiliary's first fundraising event since being reactivated earlier this year. Dinner includes one glass of beer or wine. Come for the raffles/money tree and fun. Tickets are available at the bar, Adults- $20, children - $10. RSVP by October 1st, NO WALK-INS for the event.
